Process : Typography

A double page spread in a piece about labour rights in international fishing – which is rather heavy on the typography. In many of the things I make, I focus on getting the words in place first.
Add a textured background…
And put the two together. Fiddle around with the typography colours now, to make the numbers stand out (numbers and measurements are a recurring theme in this set of stories)

Finally, add the illustrations – just a couple of small ones in this case
